Devotional and Prayer: Pastor will be preaching from the Letters to the Seven Churches in Revelation, and he drew from that the need to be outward-looking, as well as the need to not view the church as “our church”.  There were a number of health concerns that were remembered in prayer.

Best Board Practices: The directors will be attending the Best Board Practices on Nov 6, put on by NW Seminary.  There was some discussion in preparing for this.

Bookeeping: We are transitioning the bookkeeping and responsibilities for the financial statements from Annie to Irene.

Financial Report: The year-to-date operating shortfall is bout $19,000.

Library: Consideration will be given in the future as to how we can make resources such as the library more available and accessible to people.

Ministry Planning and Budgeting: We will be engaging a discussion of what sort of ministries we want to engage in 2011.  Ministry leaders should be thinking about this, and will be contacted by the directors.  This will allow us to form the 2011 budget.

Foyer: There may be some final decorating touches (curtains etc.) placed in the foyer.
